Event Information
- Tournament Start Date: November 21, 2009;
- Tentative End Date: Feb 27, 2010.
- Number of Weekends: Total weekends between Nov 21, 2009 and Feb, 2010 : 12
- No pre-scheduled buffer weekend. TCA will schedule buffer weekends depending on the number of games abandoned, their relevance to Elite or Royal Cup race, number of weekends left before end of tournament etc.
- OFF weekends: 3 (pls see below)
- Thanksgiving, Nov 28/29, 2009
- Christmas, Dec 26/27, 2009
- New Year, Jan 2/3, 2010
- Total # of teams = 32 teams.
- Ranks will be based FLT Final Ranking.
- TCA to reserve grounds for playoffs. For Playoffs, date and ground assignments will be done by TCA.

FORMAT
- Min number of games per team: 8 (Max: 11)
- Estimated Umpiring:
- 4 - Round Robin
- 1 for each playoff game played.
- All games in Round Robin have only 1 umpire. Leg umpiring is provided by batting team.
- All Round Robin Games have 1 umpire.
- All Playoff Games: 2 umpires
Round Robin (RR):
- Groups A thru D:
- 4 groups of 8 teams each
- Every team plays all the other teams in its group.
- Grounds: Home Team will host the game provides the ground. NO TCA RESERVED GROUNDS FOR ROUND ROBIN.

Playoffs Format:
- Pre-QF: PQF1: 1 vs. 16, PQF2: 2 vs. 15,......... ......... ......... PQF8: 8 vs. 9
- QF: QF1: PQF1 vs. PQF 8, ......, QF4: PQF4 vs. PQF 5
- SF: SF1: QF1 vs QF4 & QF2 vs QF3
- Finals: SF1 vs SF2
New WL Rules
- Free Hit for foot fault no-balls
- One Over Per Side Eliminator (aka Super Over), for Tie breaker in Playoffs only.
Please note that many of the policies/rules we have been following so far in the League, KO and OPEN tournaments and as defined in TCA Rule Book will stand unless there is a conflict with anything new we have defined above, in which case the above rule as stated will override.
